Results – 2023 Party in the Park CX O’Day

Cross is back with the Party in the Park season opener.

So great to see old faces and many new faces. Plenty of racing smiles (or perhaps grimaces of pain), but the post-race grins as always were huge.

It was amazing to see big fields across all grades, especially considering the clash with many other cycling disciplines including the State Criterium Championships, State XCO Mountain Bike State Series and ATTA 80km Time Trial Championship. Around 80% of our Freshers were new riders to WACX. We also had over 40 kids racing and a big Senior field of over 60 riders. It sets the scene for another terrific season of Cross in WA.

Our next race is the opening round of the 2023 Numbat Cup Series, to be held on Sunday 2 April at Edward Millen Park in East Victoria Park. Season entries are already open and individual race entries will open early in the week.
