Fishmarket Reserve, Guildford
A great day at Fishmarket Reserve for Round 2. Ashley Williams designed a terrific course that saw us boldly going where no cross bike has gone before.
The weather gods were kind, providing us with a fast, tacky and grippy course. We have seen all conditions at Fishmarket – from the mud-fest that sucked shoes off riders’ feet, to the desert dust bowl. The conditions today saw the course at its best. No casualties on Murison’s mound either!
Tristan Nash put in another stellar performance in Men’s Elite and we wish him the best for rounds 1 and 2 of the AusCycling National CX Series, which will be held in Adelaide on the 5th and 6th of June. We are waving the numbat flag for ya!
Big shout out to our course builders, those who assisted in the rego tent and Kim Van Amerongen for his help with timing. And to all riders for pinning on a number, coming out to play and support WACX.
Next race is at Lake Gwelup on the 13th of June.
Results
Sorry, the timing played up during the kids race today, so we don’t have their results.
