Results – 2024 AusCycling WA State Cyclocross Championships

Sunday 4 August 2024

Garvey Park, Ascot

What a way to cap off an exciting and challenging 2024 cyclocross season. Riders were greeted with perfect conditions as they battled it out for the crown of 2024 AusCycling WA State Cyclocross Champion.

First up, as always, a special thanks needs to go out to our crew of volunteers as we wouldn’t be able to race without their valuable contribution to the WACX community.

We’d also like to thank our sponsors for their generous support throughout the 2024 season. Our sponsors for the 2024 season included Liquor Barons (naming-rights sponsor of the Numbat Cup Series), Mayeur Cycling Apparel, Wembley Cycles, Twin Peaks Coffee Roasters, Nowhereman Brewing Co, Melody Wheels and BE&R Consulting.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for the state champs. The rain in the days leading into Sunday meant that we could throw together a real cyclocross course. And the sunny conditions on race-day meant that the spectators came out in strong numbers to cheer and heckle the riders as they battled the mud, sand and all the other technical course features.

Congratulations for all riders who competed in the state champs. And special shout-out to the following riders who secured medals in the official AusCycling WA State Cyclocross Championship categories that we were able to support this year.
