We always give special thanks to all our volunteers who make racing possible, but ‘thanks’ wasn’t the first word many of us were keen to share with the course builders after this very tough round 2 race!
Chapeau to our tireless volunteers!
The Helena Valley course was used last year for State Champs and tested us with its slippery surfaces, off camber corners, as well as punchy climbs, but the drier conditions this week made for different racing. A few extra brutal climbs were added to the course, somehow mud was still found and fast long stretches tested the legs and lungs of all racers!

Our next race of the season is SpeedShop SuperCross (Numbat Cup Round 3) at the Claremont Showgrounds on Saturday the 15th of August. This is an evening event, raced under lights, is always a highlight of the year and is not to be missed! Put the date in your diary. Be sure to sign up and bring your race numbers for some more pure sweet hell. SuperCross is also a fabulous course for first time cx’ers.
