2026 AusCycling National Cyclocross Series

Round 1 & Round 2 presented by

Saturday 23 – Sunday 24 May 2026

Hosted by the team at WACX on behalf of Perth Mountain Bike Club – we’re proud to welcome riders to the opening rounds of the AusCycling National Cyclocross Series for 2026. This will be the first time since 2023 that WA has hosted national-level cyclocross racing. You don’t want to miss it!

There’s racing for all abilities, including juniors, masters and elite. Entries will open soon.

Race venue

Garvey Park is the spiritual home of cyclocross in Western Australia, so it’s only right that we kick off a big season of national cyclocross racing at this stunning venue.

Easy access off Fauntleroy Ave in the suburb of Ascot. The venue has plenty of parking, toilets, a café and lot of space to build great cyclocross courses!

Accommodation

Garvey Park is only five minutes from Perth Airport, so riders visiting from interstate may not need to rent a vehicle. There’s a variety of accommodation between the airport and race venue, concentrated along the corridor that follows Great Eastern Highway.

Race day atmosphere

An epic cyclocross race weekend isn’t complete without good food and coffee!

Watch this space – we’re securing some excellent food vendors to ensure you’re properly fed and caffeinated for a big weeekend of cross.

Expert commentary

Perth local, and man with the golden voice, Ben Thorman, will be on the mic to make sure you don’t miss any of the action!
